Following Mute Math's set I went back to the Black Sheep stage. Melbourne-based singer Mihirangi was still on stage. I was glad to catch her since she's a fine performer in the singer-songwriter vein who keeps a foot in her Maori culture - she performed a poi dance near the end of her set - and another foot in the modern by using loops to fill out her sound.

She was ably assisted by a percussionist and didjeridu performer whose name I didn't catch and can't find. Ian? Dean? I think it was something like that ...

Poi action!

Most entertaining.
