I love all of Camera Obscura's recorded work, but I wasn't sure how well it would translate to a live performance. It actually went over very nicely, though I think The Essex Green had more oomph to their stage show. Camera Obscura's only really transcendent moment came during a mournful rendition of
Books Written for Girls. Otherwise, solid all the way through.
Tracyanne Campbell's hairdo was admired by many.

Kenny McKeeve mans the twang.

Lee Thomson on drums - just how many drummers named Lee are there?

Buttoned down bass player Gavin Dunbar.

Carey Lander and fab stripey frock.

And a couple of group shots.

A good time was had by all, even if it didn't go far beyond their recorded canon.
