I've seen Priestess five times since their show with Motorhead about two years ago. They're officially regular visitors to the Capital, sometimes dropping by as if on a whim. Their show at Mavericks was a short notice affair, apparently staged just because they felt like getting out and rocking before hitting road on a serious stateside tour with Mastodon and Converge. And why not? They do it a lot better than most.
