Grammy-winning Texas trio
Los Lonely Boys are probably the biggest name act I've photographed - Sonic Youth, Wilco and perhaps Andrew W.K. are the only ones who come close. The brothers Garza played a show at Barryomore's back when
Heaven was in rotation on the local radio stations (actually, I recall the show was some kind of promo deal .. for Kool FM, if memory serves). Great guitar work from Henry Garza, but a bit AOR for my tastes. They have a new live album out, and it's quite good - certainly better than their more polished studio stuff, to my ears.
Henry on guitar.

Jojo on the six-string bass.

And Ringo the drummer (insert mandatory "wasn't there another drummer named Ringo" crack here - on second thought, don't).
Local blues guitarist Tony D opened the show.

Bassist Sean Burke grimaces like the professional he is, while Matt Sobb remains mostly out of sight on the drums.
