Gas As The Day Is Long - these days, that name doesn't even seem strange. A really great show by these guys opening for Cerberus Shoal. Melodic art rock. Haven't heard anything from them of late, unless you count heckling their drummer at the Roll Gypsy Roll show ...

Also on the bill, *Expatriates. Twice the bass guitars, twice the fun! An interesting instrumental act. That's Russell - a.k.a. Bill Guererro - from Weapons of Mass Seduction behind Mike D. Wieland. Wieland is also in, or perhaps I should say is, Saint Bernard of Love. I'll be posting more pictures of him in 10 days or so.

They were good then, and even better when they opened for Singapore Sling (pictures of that show, as always, at Birdman Sound).
