Loop-de-loop

Babylon is just a minute's walk from the Montgomery Legion Hall, so I was fortuitously in time to catch almost all of Andrew Vincent's set. He was there sans Pirates to open for The Detective Kalita (along with The Banditas) . He didn't have a rhythm section, but he had entered the 21st century with a Korg keyboard and a looping machine ...

It certainly gave a different twist to Diane - and the audience helped along during the choruses.

He's good to go for the 2nd annual Synthfest! Not that he left his guitar at home.

"Now, how does that song go?"

He's doing another solo show at the Shanghai (on Somerset St. W.) this Wednesday, May 24.
Next up, The Banditas, featuring yet another Vincent, brother Colin (a.k.a. CiV).

Scott Terry of the Pirates was there too, to play some guitar and sing.

And, of course, Liz.

I've got to exercise that telephoto lens every once in a while.

Banditas action! Including a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival's Fortunate Son.

A swell opening as usual, even though Liz was having problems with the bridge of her Guild S-50 - her low strings kept popping out.
