World Toure

Daby Toure's dad was a musician, a founder of Toure Kunda, and the Mauritanian-born, Paris-based musician is doing the old man proud with his own outfit. I didn't catch any names ... just that the bassist is from Martinique, one drummer is from India and the other is from Venezuela. What, no one from Antarctica?!?

Daby was having a lot of fun bouncing about on stage - and he has a sensational voice.



His drummer must have hands of steel ... whacking away at his cymbals with bare flesh must wear after a while.



World music action! (And I hate to say it, but this is my best picture of his other drummer ... yikes!)
