Make it a double

The Double Pumpers are one of my favourite local bands (then again, I have a lot of favourites); they can always be counted on for a thick and heavy 1970s rock sound. Before they played their set, The Almighty Do Me a Favor (a.k.a. Dave Bradley) played a brief one-man-band set.



I thought he was pretty good - not as willfully nutty as some of the one-man bands I've seen (Bob Log III and Bloodshot Bill leap immediately to mind, don't they?).

On to the Double Pumpers ... here's Damien Sawka ... AGAIN!

Paul "Yogi" Granger sports the latest in Illuminati wear ... as previously mentioned, one of his other bands, The Lords of Vanier will be sharing a bill with that very same band July2o.



And rocking out all together.



The Double Pumpers will be playing a don't miss show August 4 with Iron Giant and sHeavy at Mavericks.
