Slo' dancin'

Slo' Tom bounded on stage for the middle slot; the John Henrys were up as well - after a quick shift of clothes - to round out the sound. Tom played tunes from his CD with the Horseshit Heroes. "I found six remaining copies and I promise not to repress it!"

Slo Tom hears something!

There was a sofa on the stage, ideal for when the band needs to take a break.

No breaks for Rey! (At least, not yet.)

Mark came up to duet with Tom (I think on Linoleum).

Slo' Tom action! (And more here and here.)

Even more Slo' Tom and John Henrys action!

Tom finishes things off by busting a move.

I'm guessing the Rock'n'Roll Rodeo will ride into town again some time ... in the meanwhile ST's hard rock combo Manpower will be at The Aloha Room Dec. 21.
  • Show reminder: Anyone hankering for more country rock action should of course head to Zaphod's, where Black Boot Trio perform tonight, with the Enan Egyptian Dance Trio(?). Spitfires & Mayflowers, J'envoie and Books on Books perform at Irene's Pub. There are also a couple of benefit shows worthy of note: RadioDazed, Jesus Mullett (or is it Meracus? Must consult the mystic 8-ball ... details murky) and Last Voice Heard will be showing their support for child care workers at Babylon; A Perfect Murder, Vimy Ridge, Dr Willy & The Robot Masters, The Donner Party and Ecliptic are doin' it for Peru at Club SAW. Bullmoose put on a great show last time they were in town; they're playing Mavericks again with Kingston Fog and The Architects. Miss bands like Adorable? Be sure to go to Avant-Garde Bar and see fellow Brit-pop fanciers Kill The Lights.
