Should've come over

The Hi Lo Trons didn't quite pack out Barrymore's Good Friday - they just packed the dance floor, leaving a sparsely populated upper tier and further cementing their reputation as the capital's top pop combo. They're moving away ever so slightly from their new wave influence to a more 1980s dance pop style, I'd say.

They were joined on stage by Sarah Hallman, who performed on Bella Simone, to duet with Michael Dubue.

Paul Hogan works the upper frets in his usual understated manner.

Philip Bova, sort of in focus.

A reasonably in focus picture of Mike Schultz - I can live with the fact it looks like he's been jabbed in the eye with his microphone.

Singalong action with Damian.

Paul - the wide angle view.

Michael pounces on the keys.

Damian explains the state of vertical integration in nightclub economics: "You folks enjoying rum and cokes ... bloody maries ... tequila ... I cut those lime slices!" (slight pause while an audience member hurls one of said slices at Damian) "That's what I was hoping for!"

Some more dueting with Sarah ...

Sarah came back for the encore.

Mike multitasks on percussion and accordion.

I thought it was pretty good - then again, I was feeling poorly as the night wore one, so it was likely better than that.
