It is to dream

Another night, another show at the Avant-Garde. This time for various members of the family Kelp, starting with an unbilled performance by Stand GT/Camp Radio/solo guitarist Chris Page.

Then a performance by Flecton Big Sky and The Dreamcatchers, i.e. Scott Terry and Tom Werbowetski.

Miche has a new Dreamcatcher on board, Rolf Klausener took a break from his Acorn duties to rock out on the cello.

"You can see I've lost some weight - I think it was the shrimp soup," declared Flecton.

I recently bought an album by Konono No. 1 in the Congotronics series - they use amplified thumb pianos, and in a strange and eerie coincidence, so does Scott Terry!

Jette action!

Very hairy action! (And even bigger and hairier!)

Flecton plays again - this very night! - at the Manx. He's also returning to the Avant-Garde Feb 24 as part of the benefit to buy a PA for the esteemed venue, and opening for Howe Gelb March 2.
