The sweat of their brow

I dragged my heels over to the Dominion Tavern Saturday night for a bit of deja vu: A show featuring a collection of heavy metal bands, one of which has been recording in Yogi's studio. This time around it was Monobrow, not Cauchemar showing off their new record - on multicoloured wax of course. I just barely made it in the door; the woman behind me was turned away for capacity reasons. as it is, I arrived too late to see opener Electric Ruin.

Swarm of Spheres were next on stage with some jet engine roar.

Loviatar came next. They have a new three-part song called Stygian Worm which they premiered for the dragon-loving crowd.

Monobrow finished things off; they started the set with the first half of their new album, Bennington Triangle Blues.

Sam rocks the low end. The band also played a couple fo songs possibly going on album No. 3.

And now I have to find a few moments to listen to my copy.
