Graveyard shift

It's a new year, and here's my first show of 2013. It was an excellent night for Ramones-worshipping punks last night at Babylon. Halifax's Outtacontroller made the trip to Bytown, and The Creeps hit the stage again with some new material.

Outacontroller have a punishing rhythm section, a couple of ace guitarists, good backing vocals and really know how to work the stage - a killer combination.

On to The Creeps; the last two times I saw them were both at Ottawa Explosions; I feel like I see connected bands (e.g. The Visitors, Zebrassieres and Crusades) more often. With new material perhaps we'll see them a bit more often than once a year.

Bass'n'drums action!
