Punk rock education

The Red Dons are a band with a good pedigree - formed out of the ashes of The Observers, The Revisions and The Clorox Girls, and with a collective of alternate members on hand to help out when need be. They've attracted several comparisons to The Adolescents ... for some reason they make me think of True Sons of Liberty.

Here they go! At left is mainman Douglas Burns. Guitarist Will Kinser is on the right and Richard Joachim is on the drums.

More Douglas! Behind him is bassist Husayn Sayer ... Husayn mucked up his shoulder at an earlier show, which is why he parked himself on an amp for the show.

More Husayn! He was very pleased to hear there was another Sayer in a band (i.e., Emmanuel).

As far as I can tell they're taking a bit of a breather right now.
