Take wing

I'm catching up - this is the first followup post that's landed in the same month as the show it's about, namely the vaguely shoegazing affairs at Zaphod Beeblebrox headlined by Toronto's The Darcys. The opening act was Those Gulls. I only caught a few songs, but they seemed to incorporate a fair dose of post-punk as well.

First, we have the band's main brain Andrew Grosvenor and violinist Lisa Deacon.

Their next show is May 12 at The Cajun Attic, they'll also be at the Rainbow June 20.
