Bluesfest: Mark Kozelek

Whale Tooth wasn't done when I went off to see Mark Kozelek on the National Bank Stage. Kozelek was not a happy camper. He seemed a bit dissatisfied with his sound check. More problematic was the sound of Whale Tooth rocking out over the hill, clearly audible over his solo acoustic stuff. He really should have been in the Barney Danson Theatre. Other than that, I can report his repartee was quite similar to his Bluesfest show back in 2006.

Happy the man.

And so on!

His crowd could certainly have fit into the theatre ...

It really was a pity about the soundbleed though. He has a new tour film out.
