Bluesfest: Bedouin Soundclash

Bedouin Soundclash are another band that seems to make frequent trips up from their T.O. homebase to play Ottawa. They like their ska and reggae and were mighty loud for their Bluesfest set. Their set was my first encounter with the mainstage sound system and I have to say I found it a bit overwhelming, particularly on the low end.

Everybody ready? Bassist Eon Sinclair is!

Lately they've been shooting a video for Brutal Heats with Bruce McDonald.
  • Show reminder: Gay, Sexy Merlin and The Northern Sound Electrical System perform at Raw Sugar; The Rainbow apparently has a jazz night now - Dynamite Motel, Clear and The In-Young Jazz Trio play; the Elmdale Tavern hosts Kelly Sloan and Curtis Chaffey.
