Northern lights

Alaskan were one of the many local bands I've been hankering to get a look at and listen to for many months before opportunity struck. They've got a real heavy sound with some creaming punkitude on top - or at least they did. In addition to departing their home at 373 Bronson, they've also parted ways with singer Kevin, who has headed off to Montreal.

Kevin.

Scotty - also of Biipiigwan - hits!

Bassist Cory and a gaggle of snappers.

Bending action with guitarist Gary! Things were getting pretty tight so I snuck behind the PA.

Gary doesn't need to switch between pickups, I guess.

Then I went off to Babylon for something not quite completely different.
