We're going to take a break from Bluesfest and jump ahead in time, to Friday, July 17 ... things were so damn wet (and not very interesting at the festival) that I decided to got to Mavericks instead to see Zebrassieres, who were so good at Gaga Weekend, Hellbros - one of the city's great unrecognized bands - and a couple of outfits I wasn't familiar with: the Bigmuffs and Babble Goons. Zebrassieres started things off.

We actually just finished recording our album. We now have to mix, master and press it. We should be doing a tour for that record in late Winter, early spring.
