Right at the start

I took a pass on Monday's Bluesfest shows since like in previous years they're targeted to the teenage crowd. Instead I bided my time until Tuesday when various acts from the depths of time emerged. Unfortunately music fans older and wilier than I showed up first to see Spencer Davis, The Yardbirds and The Zombies. Thus, the first band I saw on July 14 was The Allrights, on the Hard Rock Stage. And if they look familiar it's because I just posted photos from their latest show at the Montgomery Legion Hall just a couple of days ago.

Dave and a now freshly married Chris Cook.

Dave Tough sings! He's on a break from the band right now, doing a bit of solo stuff, though he did play bass on a few numbers on Friday.

Then I toodled off to get some horrid Spencer Davis photos.
  • Show reminder: Badjak, God, Herself and The Termites play at Zaphod's. The Unknown Culprits are at The Rainbow.
