I walked into Babylon about 8:45 and the place was already pretty full - great turnout for a Sunday night. One of the Robot Kill City guys was saying "I guess we should play a song" - so they did, accompanied by their usual twitching, shaking and post-punk cavorting.
Them Robot Killy City-ans during a typically twisty moment.
Charlie Berger scrunches.
A bad photo of drummer Jay Rasia.
Mike Laderoute goes for matching stripes.
Dave Quesnelle sings along. He was actually still singing along when Ted Leo did his set.
More twist-and-bend action.
Raff stands, Dave tips over, and I set the shutter speed way too slow ...
And remember kids, clowns and lasers are the two best things about church. As for the post title, when the North of America guys were giving their thanks they didn't quite get the whole name out ...
