Canada's got talons

I feel like I've seen Demon's Claws a bunch of times ... maybe it's just because various members, notably Ysael Pepin, keep popping up in other bands. Anyway, they were the first non-Ottawa band at the Ottawa Explosion and played it pretty straight. My fuzzy memory of previous performances seems to involve a far freakier, bluesier output. This time I heard a lot more '60s sounds, particularly Love.
