The hurtin' kind

Off to the last act of the night at the MVP Lounge, which deserves credit for providing an emergency venue, despite the music involved being almost guaranteed to befuddle or annoy its regular clientele. The fuzzy fury of The Shakey Aches was no different in that regard than what had preceded it. This was my second time hearing the band, and perhaps the first hearing it as intended since Mean Mad Matthews vocal reverb was working this time.

The whole lot! Namely ex-Desecrators Darrell and Tim, Mean Mad Matthew and bassist Brain.

And, er, that's it since I was feeling a bit under the weather and scarpered for home almost as soon as they wrapped things up.
  • Show reminder: Vas Vega, James and Blackburn and Those Gulls perform at The Rainbow; Tokyo Rosenthal and Jeff Meleras are at the Elmdale House.
