In a trance

Otis Taylor is a great performer. He can even hook the folks who don't expect to enjoy his music. I can remember walking past a stage where he was performing back when Bluesfest was at City Hall and thinking "I've got to check that out some time later." I finally got around to watching a full set in 2006 and enjoyed it a lot. Then as now he was joined by his daughter Cassie on bass. I'm guessing that the remarkably young crowd was there, to a large degree, to watch Ludacris. Nonetheless, they gave them a resounding round of applause.



Taylor is sometimes joined by John Richardson on guitar. This is not him (he was busy playing with Diunna Greenleaf).
