Pure Diamond Golden Famile

Golden Famile had better stop gigging so much; if they keep up this way I'm going to run out of doofus post titles ... woe is me, they have a show May 20 at Irene's with The Allumettes, Books on Books and an apparent headliner whose name temporarily escapes me (The Constructive Appliances? Cantankerous Octopi? Contemplative Oncologists?). Here they open for Toronto's z'Howndz. Both bands were in excellent form; fine sound too.

We start things off with some background vocal action from Casey Comeau and Darrell Angus (with Mike Sheridan drumming in back).

A little while earlier, at stage right - Ryan Hough.

At stage left, Nate Hurlow.

Yet another picture of Richard Jeffrey in red.

More Casey- who incidentally will be opening for Amos Lee at Zaphod's June 8 - and Mike.

Some pictures you should not look at after consuming drugs. This is one of them.

After this picture, Darrell plain blew up.

Apparently album No. 4 is already in the works ... or at least they're thinking about it.
