Make a commotion

I popped over to Babylon last night to see The Hi Lo Trons and Silkken Laumann. This was a fundraiser for SK and Acorn mainman Rolf Klausener's Arbouretum festival, which launched last summer and is planning fro Round 2 this year. There was a great turnout, and electro-dance pop aplenty for the masses.

First off, Silkken Laumann, with a really fine-sounding set.

Adam, Rolf and Pat were joined by head Hi Lo Tron Mike Dubue for a few songs. There was much smoke.

The Hi Lo Trons played a short set, and Rolf, Pat and Adam also made a stage appearance. The band's undergone quite a personnel shift since I last saw them in January 2011; they seem to be mostly Mike and Paul Hogan now. They also went heavy on the improvisation for this set.

Also heavy on the smoke. Paul is in there somewhere ...

Mike and others will be performing the live soundtrack to Carry On, Sergeant! at the Bytowne April 30.
