Henrietta's dream

Back in time we go to The Avant-Garde Bar on March 6 for a show headlined by Winnipeg's Liptonians and featuring Wind Up radio Sessions and Montreal's Henrietta as openers. It was actual a record release show for Henrietta for Hollow Earth Fiction. For some reason they had me thinking of Can rocker Art Bergmann, although vocally they're worlds apart. The band began as a duo, but has since expanded to a fourpiece.

From left to right, organist Chris Johns, guitarist Kyle Devine, bassist Eric Rascal and drummer James Clemens-Seely.

The AGB is one of the few venues in town where it's easy to get a good drummer photo.

Extra Eric.

More Kyle and his metal-neck guitar.

Eric steps out, since you can't actually fit four people on stage at the Avant-Garde.
