Charlie is also the grimacing champ. His space-funk-soul-rock always makes me think of the first trak off Maggot Brain.

The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol once again switched their lineup a bit for this show; Jan Lis (of Hoodlum) has joined on violin and brings a lot to the game. They also had a guest oud player from Dubai on the first couple of songs and leading things in. They were so psychedelic I was seeing double.

It was all very mind-expanding.
- Show reminder: Encephalon, Orphan Grinder, Fractured, Thorn and Audible Obsession bring industrial aplenty to Mavericks. The Ginger Fox Band and the Jon Amor Band perform at the Elmdale House.
