Merry men

It used to be that Christmas meant there was no musical events to be had outside of church choirs and the Birdman Sound Festive Seasonal Party .. fortunately the youngsters are all sacrilegious these days and there was entertainment to be had on Christmas Eve courtesy of Mother's Children and The Girlfriends at the Atomic Rooster. Unfortunately things were a little slow to start due to some trouble finding a workable microphone.

Fortunately things got worked out so it was time to slip into something more comfortable ...



And of course do a bit of pre-show stretching.



As mentioned earlier, The Girlfriends have switched things up a bit, with Sammy starting out singing and playing bass.

Their next gig is as part of The Unscene with a bunch of other performers and artists at Club SAW. They'll also be playing Cafe DeKcuf March 13 and Babylon March 20 as part of a burlesque show.
