Down to the wire

The White Wires finished the night with a rambunctious set. That may have been because of a skateboard-related near-death experience on Ian's part earlier in the day or just because White Wires shows tend to end with the audience rushing on stage and very disjointed singalong action.

Things begin with some introducing and drinking action.

I swear these photos all looked brighter on the camera's LCD screen.

Allie rocks the Roy Rogers-wear.

You can almost make out Luke in this shot ... or at least his T-shirt.

I had taken enough poorly lit Ian shots by that point, so I moved over to the other side of the stage to take some poorly lit Luke photos instead.

This amp-jumping shot was slightly less blocked than my other amp-jumping shot.

The crowd goes wild, and there goes Emmanuel!

And that was that. After there December show, it's also that's that for The White Wires for a while as Allie goes west. There will however be an LP on Dirtnap and a single on the Ugly Pop label sometime.
  • Show reminder: Keyotone, Two Weeks Notice and One play the Zaphod's free showcase. Once again, People Explode at The Rainbow.
