Age of terror

So nutso Detroit rockers Human Eye came to town and brought equally kooky pals Terrible Twos with them. There distorted synth-punk made me think of early new wave Cleveland combos like the Mirrors and Eyes.

First, some sensible pre-show stretching from guitarist Jonathan Arthur.



The rest of the band, synth-twister Danny Bing, Craig Brown, drummer Jeffrey Jordan and Chris Campbell.

Overhead action! Allie Hanlon squeezed on stage for some emergency drumkit repairs.

Then I squirmed over to the other side of the stage for some better Bing photos.

At the time I thought they sounded a bit like the Piranhas; afterward I learned they're big fans (and of The Clone Defects, no surprise there either).
