Stepping out

The first Sunday of Bluesfest stands out in memory as offering the cruddiest weather ... but at least things were still decent when I arrived in time for The Balconies' set on the Black Sheep Stage. They played a great set at the Gaga Weekend a month earlier, and made almost as good an impression at this show.

Their fame is certainly increasing ... fortunately they haven't outgrown the old town yet, and will be back Oct. 2 for a show at The Atomic Rooster.
