Heavy water

Okkervil River was another band I was introduced to by Darrell Angus, but didn't really follow until I came across Shearwater, another band associated with frontman Will Sheff and Jonathan Meiburg, a former Okkervil River. Shearwater is a personal favourite of mine, so it moved me to check out Okkervil River again. They are definitely one of those bands that crank it up on stage, and were a lot wilder than I think anyone expected.

Starting from the right, we have Justin Sherburn and bassist Patrick Pestorious.

On the drums, a very active Travis Nelson.

There was a whole lot more rocking and bopping from Sheff you can check out on my Flickr photostream. You might be able to see the band live if you're in Britain, Scotland or Ireland in the next few days.
