Don't Panic

Of Montreal play a confounding pop that references the 1960s, but in an unpredictable way, with bizzaro lyrics and switches from heavy to twee, like Black Sabbath suddenly deciding they'd rather sound like Rainbow Folly. Then add disco beats ... sprinkling of pixie dust ... oh, and trumpet.

Barnes pop-rocks the nautical look.

I don't care if his name is really Matt Dawson, I think he should be nicknamed "Mole."

The late BP Helium (Bryan Poole, also of various other Elephant 6 bands) sure dresses fancy.

Dotty band, Dottie keyboardist! (Ms. Alexander also plays some guitar and percussion).

James Huggins played drums, bass and trumpet.

Everybody clap!

On my left, a bassist.

Toot, toot!

Let's play along ...

Might as well jump!

Big, bubbly finish!

That was good. And weird.
