Nashi has appeared with The Empiricals and Ukrainia (at a Black Sheep Inn show), so it's not unnatural that they would share a bill with The Empiricals and Jake Lovetart (which features a pair of Ukrainia members). I'm not sure if the name is an ironic reference to Russian politics or Asian pears, or something else. Their music was Euro-pop with Slavic influences, with some heavier stuff thrown in. Let's just say it's probably not what a good chunk of the audience was expecting. Everyone involved certainly knew how to play.
First, the vocalist ...

A very nimble-fingered guitarist, with some jazz influences. He wears his guitar about as high as I do.

The rhythm section - dig that electronic drum kit!

All together now!

Well, that was a bit different.
