Heaven can wait

Bear In Heaven possess all the magic ingredients to be an A+ band in my book - they're an outfit founded on the triple threat of minimalism, krautrock and psychedelia. Unfortunately their performance on the Hard Rock stage didn't press any of my buttons.

hey're back in Canada Sept. 30 for a show at Salla Rossa in Montreal. After a few songs I realized it was time for me to be moving one, so I went back to the Subway Stage to check out Roy Rogers and The Delta Rhythm Kings. Here's the man himself and his nifty custom doubleneck. He once slung his axe for blues emperor John Lee Hooker, and has also backed Bonnie Raitt and Sammy Hagar, among others.
