Bluesfest: Steve Miller Band

Thursday night finished off with some rocking courtesy of The Steve Miller Band. I have a copy of his 1969 album Children of The Future album tucked away somewhere, and like everyone else who listened to rock radio for any length of time have had his 1970s hits drilled into my noggin. I don't think there was a single tune I didn't recognize in his set.

At right you can see Sonny Charles of Checkmates fame, the guitarist at left is Jacob Petersen, unless I'm mistaken.



At right is Joseph Wooten, one of the noted musical Wooten brothers, the bassist is Kenny Lee Lewis, the band's mainstay guitarist for many years.
