Symbolic sound

Besides its many merits as a purveyor of music, Birdman Sound is also a great place to take fisheye photos, as evidenced by these shots from The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol's set. Also a pretty decent place to see a show, the fact the band is stretched out along the venue's markedly rectangular space.

John! Nate! Bill!

Then I sneaked to the back so I could take a pictures of the other Symbolists on hand: Jason Vaughn (somewhere off to the left) and Dave Redford.

I'm not sure what they're up to next. Bassist Mark has departed for the West Coast, so when they do re-emerge it will be in a slightly different form, I presume ...
