Sporting chance

After sticking to its schedule to a truly remarkable degree, Day 2 of the Ottawa Explosion wrapped up with a set by Bad Sports. The trio come from Denton, Texas and are graduates of the Pete Townsend school of chord progressions. They really remind of bands like The Embrooks (and of course The Marked Men), with a bit more punk damage. Members Orville Neeley, Greg Rutherford and TV Daniel Fried have done time in groups like Mind Spiders, the Wax Museums and The High Tension Wires.
