I bopped over to House of Targ last week to check out Danish post-punkers Foreign Resort. Also on the bill, Coastal Pigs and Deathsticks. I forgot how early those midweek Targ shows start and missed Deathsticks, so here's some Coastal Pigs, starting with bassist Scott (seen just a few days later at Targ performing with The Fucking Machines).

Foreign Resort have a very 1980s sound; they made me think of The Cure and other bands from my misbegotten youth. They've done the SXSW-CMW twofer and are now on a cross-Canadian tour. Here's drummer Morten!
