Going the distance

When a band comes from far away to play Ottawa, I try a bit harder to make it out; I figure if someone an come all the way from Australia or Asia, they deserve a little extra effort. Judging from the number of people at Apollo 18's show at Zaphod's, this is not a common philosophy. Unfortunate for everyone, since their show was quite excellent, as was the performance by local openers Celery Troff.

They've just released a new EP and are kicking off a tour with a show at the Avant-Garde Bar on April 25.
