The way of all flesh

Although it's not exactly Ottawa's premier den of heavy metal, the Rainbow Bistro doesn't seem to mind inviting the occasional pack of hairy denizens in to test the limits of its power supply. On October 26 of last year, Poland's Decapitated paid a visit, accompanied by Rings of Saturn (of whom I got very few photos), Decrepit Birth and Fleshgod Apocalypse. The Italian metal maestros were the second act on the bill and didn't knock me out (I confess to not being much for symphonic flourishes in metal music) but can at least claim to be the band best suited to go to a dinner party ... for ravening zombies, anyway.

But first, what the hell, another Rings of Saturn photo.

And now Fleshgod Apocalypse, sharp-dressed men! I could be mistaken, but I believe this is Tommasso Riccardi and Cristiano Trionfera.

Alas, no good photos of drummer Francesco Paoli.
