The Sonic Avenues?!? Man, I feel like I just saw them yesterday ... oh, wait (insert braying laughter, knee-slapping, here). Unfunny humour aside, this other excellent Montreal combo have made a bunch of trips to the capital of late and been swell each time. Their June Babylon show was more of the same.

They played a great set Friday, and one hopes they'll be back sooner rather than later. There was some talk of a split single with a local band, so who knows what's in the offing ....
