Head space

House of Targ went psychedelic a week ago. Moths & Locusts have a new album out, Intro/Outro, and they're making the trip cross-country from their home on Nanaimo, B.C. to give it a boost. Cardinal Fuzz labelmates The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol were also on hand, with David Jackson and Brad Crowe kicking things off. Here's David and Brad!

And so on!

On to The Band Whose Name Is A Symbol, who have an album of their own that's going to see a release show Oct. 22. Here's Jason giving the green light to begin.

The kids are alright

Last week I headed over to House of Targ for some fundraising action. The beneficiary was Christie Lake Kids, which helps underprivileged youngsters with recreation and skill-building. On hand to help raise a few bucks were Saint Claire, Holy Christopher and openers Nightshade, who played a smokey set. Here's Mallory!

Extra Geoff!

Holy Christopher played a really great set; last time I saw them they were without drummer Ben, but this time they were up to full strength. Here's Andy, back on guitar and Ben, back behind the kit.
