Saturday Looks Good To Me

They played at Irene's October 2004 and were terrific. Ringleader Fred Thomas had played here before with multi-instrumentalist Elliot Bergman and the drummer (whose name I forget ... I think it was Charles Koltak) and they sounded good - a bit like The Sights - but nothing compared to how good they were when they rounded thinks out with a couple of keyboardists and vocalist Betty Marie Barnes. Here's Bergman and Barnes; the picture's a bit dark, but nice nonetheless.
