Ottawa music fans have been waiting quite a while for Warp Lines to put their music to wax, and finally, in September, they released Human Fresh on Dirt Cult. Record release demands a record release show, so they were joined by Organ Eyes and Mushy Gushy at House of Targ. Organ Eyes kicked things off. Here's Cam!

Ottawa Showbox has been celebrating the local music scene for a few years now on their website, and doing a fine job of it. Unfortunately, bandwidth isn't free, so it was fundraiser time back on March 22. Mediastyle hosted the event at their Bank St. location, and Mushy Gushy, Sparklesaurus and Expanda Fuzz provided the sounds. Here's Chris firing up the drum machine!

As 2018 vanished into the distance, I went to Black Squirrel Books to see a trio of local acts: Future News, Offers and Mushy Gushy, Ive seen them all in the recent pass, and decided I wanted to see them again, starting with Future News. Here's Adam, waiting for the pre-show banter to end!
