We're against it

What are The Aversions averse to? Intact music gear, as far as I can tell. They gave Irene's stands and microphones a rare thumping. They also covered the Wasted Lives' Wirehead, and finished the set with Touchstone looping his microphone lead over parts of Mr. Tavernier's drums and pulling his kit to bits. Unfortunately the relative darkness of the Irene's stage was playing hob with my camera's focus. There was a lot of action, but not a lot of it made it into bits and bytes. This was the first show I've been to in some time where I was actually worried about being hit by some bit of airborne instrumentation.

Which picture of Touchstone doubled over to run? There were a lot of options.

Boredom L. models the Flipper look.

No one knows what Bassist G. Fox really looks like.

Singalong action!

Aversion action!

One-two-three pull!

I bumped into Touchstone at Birdman Sound the day after the show ... he was a much quieter guy off stage - or maybe he was just hung over.
