Looking for buzz

On Friday I walked down to the Byward Market to check out some punk rock at the Dominion Tavern. I've seen Neck, First Base and Outtacontroller a bunch of times (Neck just a couple of weeks ago at the House of Targ), and can't really think of a good reason I'd pass up a chance to see them again. Neck were on first, with Johnny going for the George Thorogood look.

As November rolled in it was fundraising time at CKCU, and that means fundraising shows. The one I made it out for was Mercury Lounge (which coincidentally was celebrating a big anniversary the same week), and featured a bunch of loud and fast punk bands, starting with Toronto's School Damage; here's some introduction action, plus guitarist Brad!
