I went to House of Targ on Thursday for some folk-country-Americana styled action. Graven - a.k.a. Matt McKecknie - was headlining a bill that included The Sonic Defense, Christine Jackel and Rory Taillon. Christine was just beginning as I walked in the door. By the time I grabbed a bite to eat and actually started taking photos she had switched from guitar to piano.
Keyboard action!
And so on!
Next up: Rory Taillon.
More Rory!
Even more Rory!
Whole lotta Rory!
The Sonic Defense played in a more punk-pop or indie rock style. Here's mainman Ron Boudreau.
Guitar action with Hugo!
Dominic hits!
Bass action with Dan!
Guitar action!
Rhythm section action!
Singalong action!
More Dominic!
Bonus Hugo!
Graven and his New Band (or The New Band), finished the night off. Here's Matt!
Guitar action with Gideon!
Bass action with Landon!
A shouty bit!
Jamie (of Paramedics and many others) hits!
Newish action!
The whole lot!
And so on!
An entertaining evening.
