Late last month I headed over to the House of Targ to eat some perogies, listen to Good2Go and check out Roadhaus. This was being billed in some quarters as a Mantha family double-whammy since Good2Go drummer Gilles' son Niko plays guitar and sings in Roadhaus. As it happens, this is not the first time I've seen the duo share a bill - about nine years ago Quick Fix (Niko's teenage combo) performed with Good2Go at End Hits. Here's Niko now.
Bassist Richard likes to jump about!
Smiley action with drummer Anthony!
Richard sings!
Anthony sings!
Niko sings!
And so on!
Extra Richard!
More Anthony!
Rhythm section action!
Microphone-sharing action!
On to Good2Go, who put on a fine set as usual; Here's Miss Maureen and guitarist Glen!
Reg handles the low end.
Since I last time I saw them guitarist Christian has gone off to right a book, so Glen is now on guitar full-time.
Gripping action with Maureen, Gilles and Glen!
Gilles hits!
And sings a bit!
Pointy action!
A shouty bit!
Rhythm section action!
More Maureen!
Extra percussion!
Reg sings! They dug a couple of oldies, such as Beer Truck and the appropriate Pinball, out.
Solid stuff all around.
